These are made from nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy. The nickel content is less than half of the total amount of alloys present in the fastener. It is super austenitic due to the presence of iron in abundance in it. These fittings offer excellent resistance to corrosion under the effect of water, air, and alkali.
