Copper Sulphate is an inorganic compound composed of copper, sulfur and oxygen. It is a blue crystalline solid, often referred to as blue vitriol, that is highly soluble in water. Copper Sulphate is widely used as a pesticide, fungicide, herbicide, molluscicide, and algaecide. It is also used in the production of other copper compounds, such as copper oxide, as well as in electroplating, dyeing and tanning processes.
