Sodium Silicate is one of the most branched out and specialized product, with it's applications ranging to suit several products. It is available as SODIUM SILICATE SOLID (CULLET / GLASS), SODIUM SILICATE LIQUID, SODIUM SILICATE POWDER (SODIUM DI-SILICATE) and SODIUM META SILICATE. It is used for Dirt Removal, as an Anti - Caking Agent for Detergent Manufacturing, Inoculation of Waste Water Treatment Process, De - Inking in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, Moulds in Rough Castings, Colour Fixing Agent in Textile Processing, Binders in Additives etc. It is extensively used in the Pad - Batch Dyeing Process ( in Reactive Dyes ), where Silicates provide Alkalinity and Buffering necessary to maintain the required pH for the Dyeing Process. Silicates are used as Plasticisers in the Ceramics Industry, particularly in the production of Floor and Wall Tiles. Though it's properties vary only on the Molar Values, it remains the same Chemically, and the Grades are easy to manufacture by increasing or decreasing the Molar Values.
