Appliance wiring cables are manufactured as per UL/CSA standards and are used for internal wiring of panels and electrical equipment. There are single-core cables viz., UL 1015, UL 1007, UL 1569, and UL 1275 in this category used for internal wiring of switchboards, televisions, appliances, refrigeration equipment.
These cables are also used as lead wire / hook up wire. Single cores are available from 21 AWG to 500 kcmil. UL 3289 is a single core cable suitable to use from -50°C to +150°C.
This category also offers multicore cables viz. UL 2587, UL 2464, UL 2576, 2598, UL 2586 which are used in measuring, control, the connection between control panels and machines. These comply with flame retardant characteristics as per UL VW-1 and CSA FT1/FT2 as applicable.
