Shivaji Cane Processors Limited is a public limited Company registered under the Indian Company Act. 1956 and started its operations in the year 2013. The location of Shivaji Cane Processors Limited is known as industrially least developed D+ zone in Maharashtra State. The area is situated in rich and fertile basins of Krishna, Warana and Morna rivers having a high potential for sugarcane production. Sugarcane is a traditional crop for the farmers in this region. Good availability of water with the supplement of irrigation facilities and also favorable climate conditions makes this region highly supportive for sugarcane production. Founder, Director Mr. Shivajirao Yashwantrao Naik (M.L.A.) realized the potential of the sugarcane availability in this region. He decided to start this plant to support all the farmers in the close by region and improve their economic, social and educational level. His idea was soon reciprocated with the overwhelming response from all farmers in the region. More than 14000 farmers have been registered themselves as producer members in this venture. With the considerable support from all farmers from the region Shivaji Cane Processors Limited started it's 30 Crore manufacturing plant in Shirala from the year 2013. From the starting year Shivaji Cane Processors Limited running successfully under the experienced guidance of the Managing Director Mr. Abhijit Shivajirao Naik and built its strong presence in Sulpher Less Khandsari Sugar and Sulpher Less Jaggery Powder sector.
