Every year from 2013 Shivaji Cane Processors Limited plans sugarcane development and cultivation program in season. The whole purpose behind this program is to provide advanced variety sugarcane setts on subsidize rate. Required fertilizers and pesticides are made available along with sugarcane seeds to the regional sugarcane producers on the village level credit facility. Providing complete support, confidence and encouragement at grass route level. The average sugarcane purchase rate from Shivaji Cane Producers Limited was Rs.2,500 per Metric Ton in the year 2013. The average production of sugarcane crop per hectare was also improved by effective application of our program. This significant growth is building more confidence in the regional sugarcane producers to produce more sugarcane crop, which is helping to accomplish our goal to acquire 100% sugarcane crop from our local sugarcane producers and awarding them with more financial benefits to improve their life.

In every annual general meeting highest sugarcane producer from the region gets a cash prize and medal from Shivaji Cane Processors Limited for their contribution and achievement in the sugarcane cultivation. We are getting sugarcane from targeted area which is Shirala, Walwa, Shahuwadi and Karad Taluka approximately 2,469 hectares that is approximately 1,97,520 Metric Ton in season.
