A crawler crane consists of an upper carriage mounted on a crawler type undercarriage. The upper deck and attachments rotate 360º. A crawler crane features either a box or a lattice type straight boom and it may be equipped with an optional jib (boom extension).

A crawler crane is perfect for carrying large and heavy loads, such as steel beams, concrete blocks, and other construction materials, due to its enormous lifting capability and long reach. They are frequently employed in the construction of bridges, wind turbines, heavy lift operations, and other expansive projects.
