This is a nice hardbound edition of the 3-column format Holy Quran with Arabic Text, Romanized (Transliterated) into English, and translation of Abdullah Yusuf Ali(A.Y Ali).
The advantage of a “romanized” transliteration of the Quran is that it allows those who are not aware of the Arabic language & eager to recite and for the beginner to learn Quranic Arabic script to be able to sound out problematic verses or words of the Quran and to be used as an aid in proper enunciation and pronunciation of Quranic Arabic text.
It is a fact that no system of perfect transcription is possible, however, it has to be acknowledged that Mr. Abdul Haleem Eliasi’s (Transliterater) approach is very simple and much nearer to the perfection.
